| OK, you want to sign up with the Tulpehocken Rifle & Pistol Club: Just follow these easy steps, we want you on board. We welcome your questions, and encourage you to express any concerns you may have. Step 1- Get an application for membership card. You may acquire as many as you need by sending your request with a stamped, self-addressed envelope to: TR&PC, Box 253, Pine Grove, PA, 17963. You may also ask a club member if he has or can get one, or you may ask for one at a scheduled match, or at a regular meeting. You may also print one for yorself, from this web. To do so, click here. (Then right click on the form, then select "print" from the list of options.) Step 2- Fill out the card. We no longer ask for social security numbers, put your e-mail instead, please, if you have one, and wish to be kept informed. NRA membership, although not required, is highly encouraged. Name and post office address is essential. Put for references at least one current club member who knows you. If there are none, our matches are open to the public, as are our regular meetings, and annual banquet. Get to know us, we are friendly. If you are not local, you may send a letter of self-introduction in lieu of recommendations by club members. Our purpose is to promote the shooting sports, and proper and lawful firearm use and ownership. If you share this, you are welcome. Step 3- Best is to bring your application to a regular meeting; filled out, and with $30 dues, and $5 initiation fee (age 18 and older), or $5 dues and $5 initiation fee for junior membership (age 17 or younger). Payment by check is best, as it gives an extra record to affirm that you have payed. Cash or money order is also acceptable. Do not send cash in the mail. We do not process credit cards. Your presence and co-operation will expedite the enrolment process considerably. If you must, send application and fees to our PO address. Your membership card, access code, and copy of bylaws and range rules will be sent out by mail asap, usually within a week or so of the regular meeting after we receive your application. Step 4- To complete your membership in the TP&PC, become familiar with our Constitution and By-Laws, Range Rules, and safety rules, Get to know your fellow club members, and work with them to fulfill our purposes, as detailed in our by-laws.
