| December 31 is hstory now. Those who haven't, let's get our dues in. The general mailing gate combo change letter has been recently sent out. Enclose a stamped, self-addressed envelope to receive your card and info by return mail. New cards will be distributed asap after receiving payment. Updated bylaws will be given with each new membership package. Look for the updated by-laws, they will have a club facility map on the back cover, for your convenience of explaining where we are to friends and prospective new members. With all renewals, please update any changed, outdated, or questionable membership info. If you seem to have been omitted from certain mailings, please re-submit all contact info; we are updating membership files. Please include e-mail contact info, if you have it, and a phone number, if you like. We no longer collect social security numbers, as a defense against identity theft. Best wishes for the new shooting season! Ask a club member for a membership application card, pick one or more up at a regular meeting, send a stamped self addressed envelope with your request to our Postal Address, or print one off this web. (To print the application form, "right click" on the form, then selct "print" from the option menu) See "By-Laws" - Articles VII and VIII, "Membership and Dues" for further information. (Dues are currently - Senior$30/yr ; Junior$5/yr ; one-time initiation fee $5.) Recently (2006) the voting members of the club (those attending the meetings) decided that it would benefit the club to return to our original renewal policy, as in the by-laws of 1990. This entailed renewal of membership between 1 Oct. and 31 Dec, so that by Jan. 1, everyone has paid their dues for the year. There will be a $5 late fee for renewals after Dec 31. Our membership co-ordinator, as all our officers, directors, and committee members, are unpaid positions, and it is not fair to burden them unnecessarily. Let's renew on time. For our currently enrolled members, please keep us up to date. If we seem to have fallen out of communication, please take the initiative to restore it. It may be our fault, but it is far easier for you to find us, than for us to find you. Our new goal is to acquire e-mail addresses of any who would care to share them with us. It seems to be the trend for the future. membership committee "Battle of the Bulge:, 2008 | |
