Dear Visitor;
Although this web site (tulrpc.com) is informally being maintained as a voluntary contribution to the Tulpehocken Rifle & Pistol Club, by a member of the club, it is not an actual organ or possession of the club. It is a temporary arrangement for the convenience of the web administration, club, and interested individual members. We hope you will enjoy the posted information about the club, Constitution & Bylaws, schedule of events, membership application, and other things. We also hope you will tolerate and respect that the web administrator has personal views on the topics of politics and religion, as well as the direction of the club. This is what America is all about folks. Personal initiative toward a common good, and respect for our neighbors, who may not share our point of view, will promote the freedom which the signers of the declaration of independence initiated
Stay tuned for a more permanent and formal club web presence. The club recently voted to start a facebook page for the the benefit and information of members. We encourage you to participate in that exchange and forum to be kept current on club business. It is not the intention of the administrator, in the mean time, to imply that the views expressed on this web are the formal and official consensus of the Tulpehocken Rifle & Pistol Club. In many cases, they are not.
The Tulpehocken Rifle & Pistol Club is (in application as) a Pennsylvania 501c-7 corporation. The new web presences, which will be formally managed by the club, will reflect this reality. The web you are currently visiting does not need to.
We hope you enjoy your visit, and find the posted material useful. In the interest of fairness and inclusivity, the administrator welcomes dissenting points of view. If enough people are interested, we will start a page of visitors and club members comments, questions, and opinions. It is the opinion of the administrator that respectful and courteous dissent makes us strong; as individuals, as a club, a State (Pennsylvania) and in the Union of the States. It is also the opinion of the administration that, as the Apostle Paul affirmed (1Timothy5:18), and Scripture stated (Deuteronomy 25:4), “You must not muzzle the Ox that treadeth out the grain”. None of us enjoy being muzzled, especially when doing volunteer work for a common good. That is what the First Amendment is all about, and part of what makes America great. Let’s cherish this freedom, as we do those listed in the others of the constitutional amendments, especially the second. A loss for one is a loss for all.
In the mean time, may YHWH bless you, our State, and the Union, and may we live to see His kingdom come. Love one another.
